If you want a standard wedding band, then look elsewhere!
“Oh, so pretty” hail from the UK’s newest City in Milton Keynes, they came together in the winter of 23/24 playing covers, but their originals are a mixture of concrete cows and roundabouts…. whatever that is?
This three-piece band has an ancient drummer (60+) “Russky” the joker, a sarcastic bass player “Brucey Bass” who won’t move, and the guys are kept in check by a mild-mannered construction worker/lead guitarist “Cool hand Lee”.
“Oh, so pretty” are a garage band from “pub land”, they love a diverse audience, and they want their audience to have fun, tap their feet, sing and just dance if they want to. Their mantra is “it’s your gig…. not ours”!
With their love of all things foot tapping, it’s not surprising their covers range from Creams “White Room”, the Black Sabbaths “Paranoid” to the Buzzcocks “Ever fallen in love”, from Chuck Berry’s “Johnny. B. Goode”, the Ramones “Rockaway beach” to a unique rendition of the White Stripes “Severn Nation Army” and from The Clash’s “London Calling”, a unique version of the Animals “House of the rising Sun” to Iggy Pops “I wanna be your dog”. They are not stuck in “tribute band land” and they are not restricted by just one era’s genre’s, in fact, their covers are as diverse as the band members themselves. They are a bit different although, compared to their contemporaries they may not be as pretty…. but they are….” Oh, so pretty”!!!!
